EMDR Therapy: An Option For A Wider World Vision



Eye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing (EMDR) is an alternative therapy technique invented by Francine Shapiro , an effective treatment mostly for traumas. The technique is said to have success over veterans.
The sessions managed by professionals are;
1.History Taking
Here, the professional collects information about the patient in order to have positive effects and eliminate the negative effects.
2.Preparation
Patients are prepared for EMDR therapy by the professional in order to develop confidence and coping skills and the relation between the patient and the professional should be clear and sincere.
3.Assessment
Here, a dual stimulation is made such as tapping on the patient's knees . The patient is asked for the negative memories and what he feels and, visualizes at the moment.
4.Desensitization
This session includes reprocessing the target memory network by activating related channels of association. EMDR procedures to reprocess the selected incident associated with the presenting issue are applied until successful resolution. The clinician and patient engage in sets of bilateral stimulation (lasting approximately 15–30 seconds each)
5.Installation
Strengthening and enhancing associations to positive memory networks are put into place. The suitability of the selected positive cognition is reevaluated and linked with targeting and strengthening EMDR procedures.
6. Body Scan
This stage reprocesses any residual physical manifestations of the memory and involves accessing the memory and the positive cognition (belief), scanning the body, and reprocessing any sensations.
7 Closure
In this stage, there is reorientation of the focus of attention to bring closure to the reprocessing. The client is stabilized and the session closed, with reorientation to the present. A plan is developed for the time between sessions, and as appropriate, a plan is arranged for contact with the clinician.
8. Reevaluation Phase 8 is often conducted at the beginning of a subsequent treatment session. In other words, in the midst of a course of treatment, the clinician will conduct the reevaluation at the outset of an individual therapy session to revisit the impact of previous sessions. Reevaluation ensures clinical attention and followup of every EMDR treatment session to evaluate specific target memories, identify other relevant associations that may have developed as a result of reprocessing, and evaluate patient progress.
The effectiveness of the technique is contraversial. You need to see a professional for a better result. But here you can watch the below video for stress and anxiety relieving . Are You A Hyper Empathetic?


There are people around saying "I feel your pain....", "I wish I had died together with him"... And surprisingly they should have been thinking how enourmous heart they have and how loving people they are.. Isn't it a bit selfish manner? Like the people can not say "no" to another, the "people pleasers" also seem weak by the other ones.

The hyper empathy is also one of the interesting manners or feelings that may define our social interactions with the other people. As an example, women used to feel more attracted to the kind of men who does not care much of them, you know why? Who knows!! Maybe some scientists are now making some studies on those kind of people, but the real thing is that we ,as women, dislike the ones who are extra sensitive on anything, we are attracted to the red rose buyers, but we get married to the ones used to forget our birthday or anniversaries.

Normally, reading other people's feelings or feeling the same pain their friends already experiencing seems a wonderful sense, but sometimes when it exceeds, you try to interrupt the other's live, you get addicted to the people such as "helicopter parents" who always care too much for their children (this also seems normal to most of you) but do you know this can be dangerous when you can not get feedbacks from another and this hyper sensitive type of feeling may lead to mental disorders, drug addictions and so on...

A Miracle Depression Cure ( Niacin)

It has been long time I did not look at or wondered about alternative depression cures...Nowadays  I used to have a look at videos including bineural beats and isochronic tones ( I will add new articles at a seperate part related to this) but while I was already using vitamin b komplex for my fragile nails and hair and was sarching the alternative benefits, I have come across a  very interesting and outregaous article that the consequences of the tratment really and really surprised me ...

The story is like this...There is a very very sick girl,suicidal... she is 15...And really very depressed... And all day long, she sits at the coner, still..doesn't speaking to any one ...Of course she is under a  psychological therapy by her family.. But the point is... Does it work? No!

Andrew Saul, has a video claiming that he had given this girl a 11,500 grams of niacin every day for the depression treatment, and she was sitting at the table and talking to the people again... The family was surprised..They asked their doctor but their doctor said the dosage was harmful (she also prescribed 3,000 grams) and after cuting the supplement, the 15 year old was back at the corner again....

Andrew Saul, also says that nobody since the said supplement  is found, has died of the niacin yet. It may save life, yes this is true. If it really helps with the girl  But there are also evidences that the niacin can be toxic at higher doses. It is mostly said that the daily recommended dose should not exceed 25 mg or 50 mg for an average person. But the important point here is the flush, Mr. Saul says. You can gradually increase the amount until you have flushes, so till you realise a flush you can higher the amount for the serious treatments. And this shows that your body needs bigger amounts of niacin until you realise a flush. This really sounds interesting and inspiring.

Can brain scans show depression?



Last week i went to a hospital for a brain scan. It was a nervous experience... Finally there was no any foundings about the inspected areas but the mri itself draw my attention as it might have given the signs of different illnesses and conditions.
While i was checking the brain mri of different people and personalities, there i have realized most of the people have different shapes, colours and images of brain scans which are really amazing to look through.You can also distinguish a psychopath other than a person when you investigate his brain mri. If the medication is still used to be able to alter the moods of people, then the brain of a depressed person should not be same as a normal person's...If you have a real interest of investigating and when you go through the mri's you will see that some of the parts of the brain in a depressed person has a different anotomy. Scientists has proved that prefrontal cortex is effected by the depression which means that this is a biological process even though most of the people still do not believe that it is a real medical problem.

Deal With Stress

When we are overloaded,  we can't manage anything , we just stop doing the work in front of us. The feeling is just as the brain's stop. What is this called? Stress?

Have you ever thought why we can not cope with stress very easily. For years, people are trying to find the ways to handle the stress at their business, private life. But they show different reactions to different incidents. Some cry, some shout, some have though arguements, some have nightmares, long sleep time, drinking too much,  overeating, using drugs, smoking and some may have little interest on daily activities they used to love doing. This may show that we people naturally find different responds for fighting the stress in order to protect our brains from going mad and also do not seem as the best ways to deal with your stress, so you have to find healthier ones to lead a better life.

While we are spending our lives with hard work, school, children, visiting the other's private days, watching a neighbour's children's play, most of the hours start to become as extra responsibilities.

But you can observe what makes you feel calm, stop your anxiety. This is your life, not any others', so from now on you may share more time and pay attention to what is going on while your life is slipping by.

Some people around you can cause all your anxiety, depression which the stress leads to mostly. Stop seeing them if possible, or lower your communication, stop argueing .

Do not hide your feelings, just tell your friends, family, your spouse what annoys you and try to express all your feelings with anyhow it results by.

5 EFFECTIVE WAYS FOR BOOSTING YOUR MOOD

Here is a list I made for myself a few months ago, I try doing most of them and it  works when i eagerly do it. You can prepare your own list if you thoroughly think.

1) Wear your sports clothes and go out for a long walk. 

Walking and listening to the music you enjoy will help distract your negative feelings as more oxygen will reach to your brain. Try to walk at least half an hour. Don't think about your ex lover, your annoying business or negative people around or the person you get angry that day. Just focus around you, what the weather is like, the trees, beautiful people, smiling and naughty children....

2) Prepare a goal list for yourself. Trying to do something different every other day will help you feel yourself a more important important person than you are. Read a different blog or article about something you are interested in, try to learn some words for a language you most like to learn compeletly, ITalian, Spanish or even Latin language. (You know the most beautiful words are from Latin language :))

 Do not see your negative friends annoying you during your tender moments. I love Mark Twain's word for ambition. " Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitiouns. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." 

3) Help someone . There are many people waiting for help around the world. You may not have enough money to feed yourself , but you can give place to an old lady or man if you are in a subway or bus, automated teller machine or in a shopping center at a paying counter, you will absolutely see a smiling face showing their gratitude to you in return for your favor.

4) Call the person you enjoy talking. Talking to your best friend or one of your parents will help you feel better, at least you can share your feeling with them for a few minutes and forget the poor business.

5) Buy something you like.This shouldn't be something you can buy any time. Here, the important point is to have a target for something, so you should collect some money for a period of time to have something , this will show your eagerness and patience and ambition so at the end you will reach your reward and this is really a great feeling. You can collect small moneys at your pig coinbox, or you can save some after paying all the bills at the end of the month and go and buy a smart dress for a night dinner. If you are earning well, you can go and get a membership for a sports club so you can have more time for socializing, meeting different people.

Krill Oil And Omega 3

Nowadays, people are searching for different forms of energy combiners, depression defeaters, and for a healthier life they are looking for supplements .

One of them is Omega 3 which claims to help prevent many diseases including heart -related illnesses. The Omega 3 is known to heal cardiac diseases, rheumatoid arthritis and really as effective as the fluoexetine (Prozac) so most people are eating salmon fish like freaks, swallowing omega 3 tablets and trying to find omega 3 sources.

But nowadays a rival appeared across this big healthy thing. Krill Oil! So what is Krill Oil?

I heard of it once in Mehmet Oz's video, (see below) he was talking about this thing as if he had just conquered the USA and he was so convincingly explaining the effects and it seemed to have more EPA and DHA in the tablet forms comparing the omega 3 and it was said to be more absorbable as it is in oil form.

So Krill Oil maybe useful for people can not swallow the big tablets of the fish oils, and the benefits maybe identified by the studies and the comments should be made by the scientists and the people using them.

As I said before, the most known benefits is it is

1) More absorbable

2) It is claimed to have more EPA and DHA in its form.

I think it is more expensive comparing omega 3 as it is a different form of Omega 3.

I will try it after finishing my omega 3 tablets and will share my experiences with you very soon.

Let Matters Take Their Course

We force.. .I see people used to force things to happen in another way, does it help? Yes, but does it work? Absolutely no....











The more we insist on something, the more we take the adverse, right? So, knowing this, why do we all still force things to happen in the way we choose or direct .

Some people have the kind of personality that puts pressure on others. I don't know why but they seem to ensure themselves as such and probably they play off the people around them, sound like pragmatic?

Have you ever met someone who is so much happy to be treated like the pets have owners to be obeyed... I don't think so.

Reproaches may not seem as innocent as you do behave.


-You used to call me  more often. Darling, don't you love me any more?                                            
-   No babe, of course I love you. (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)                                                                               


You may be respected as you are a dominant person, but the person you are in a relation may revenge secretly. ( Am I daydreaming or magnifying? ) I don't think so. This is true. At least this is my idea.                                                                                                                                                          

Your plans will not everytime has it down pat. Not every people are good at communication and are able to tell you their real reflections, so trying hard makes sometimes negative impacts. Just let it free. Inhibitions may cause people feel more pressures.

To Be Able To Say No

I wish I could fulfill every spoken word as I write. It seems easy, but isn't. You get bored after a busy work day and would like to go out and see your boyfriend. You wait his call but he does not. He would like to sleep instead of seeing you.

Or you ended a full week and afterwards waiting for enjoying at the weekend. You are waiting for your friends' invitations or you call them but they say they are busy and can not go out.

Finally, you called your mum and ask her what she is doing, is she allright etc. She speaks to you for a few minutes and says she is busy , should go out for dinner with daddy and have to hang up, and yes shuts it off.

Those 3 examples may not be familiar but most of us should have faced it at least once. And then you start to worry about what is wrong. Are you too much interested or too much eager to do something, no. Perhaps you are  one of the people who can not say "no" before your friend, your boyfriend or mother...So:

*If you have a programmed life, you most probably do not have time to say yes. So automatically you become one of the "no" people. And be sure it will seem cool.

*When you have a B plan for your daily programme, you will be able to say "no" again. So find a different activity if you do not want to be disappointed when you hear the usual"no".

* Just try to say "no" even if you die for doing something for once, maybe day by day you can get used to it , who knows!!
