ADHD and Caffeine


Studies show that caffeine is known to be a stimulant for being awake and alert but this effect may vary from one person to another as everybody has a different body structure. Some people say that they can not start working before a cup of coffee and continue drinking during the day while some others can not even drink even one swallow.

Scientists also claim that caffeine gives energy in adults and it may have positive effects on memory for people with ADHD. Caffeine is said to be useful and effective for brain and if we think that for hundreds of years people drink for ex. coffee or etc. for being awake this is not a new information.

If the child or the adult has an ADHD, of course the prescribed medicines seem to have the priority when it comes to reality, but it is also not proven if the medicines interact with caffeine or not so far. Stay Away From Simple Carbonhydrates

A piece of cake or a muffin makes us feel a bit fed up but ten or fifteen minutes later we begin to feel hungry and our brain alarms. But why does this happen? What happens after we eat the beautiful smelling pink creamy cake .

1) You feel tired and begin to yawn.

2) You fell asleep at the office while working.(Ok, this was a bit exaggerated.)

3) Simple Carbs help provide energy but this is short-term. You feel hungry after a while. To prevent this you can mix protein with the simple carbs for a slow digestion.

4) Brain fog occurs after eating carbs.

What is brain fog?

Brain fog is a lack of mental clearance and this prevents your ability to think .Meals rich of carbs may increase the risk of brain fog. Also drinking less water , too much coffee or tea will make a confusion at your brain and also will damage the kidneys and the liver.

My Forth Day Experience At The Best Concentration Technique

I am always at big expectations from life. So if I learn something new and if I believe that it would make my life easier, I follow it till I succeed on it. Today it is the 4th day at the concentration technique application and i will try 26 days more but won't write day by day the progress of course. I will only comment if there is a slight difference at my life.
During today, I have tried the exercise my eyes opened. But I really felt pain in my brain , so I am not sure if this is helping and re-wiring my brain or it is only the blood circulation within my veins. The feeling was as if I was exercising my brain at a gym saloon.This is all for today.

The Best Mental Concentration Technique Day-3

Today was amazing. It is now 21:19 p.m. and my brain continues to ache again like the other previous days. I tried to imagine a white background and a small red circle over it, it worked for a few seconds , and again i lost it , but tried again and again during the day. I did not close my eyes today, I had made the imagination my eyes opened.It was hard to realise the image, but i think I could do it for a few seconds but only a few seconds, not more.

The Best Mental Concentration Technique-Day 2

Now it is 23:17 p.m. and during today I made the exercise; the most effective mental concentration technique maybe for totally half an hour. As you know I have told you this technique at my previous article "Mental Exercise For Concentration" in this blog.I will try this technique for a 30 days time and will share the experiences with you day by day. The effects of this brain exercise I examined today is: *The frontal part of my brain ached. I felt as if my brain was tickled. *Today I could concentrate on a tv programme for a considerable period of time. *Again I felt a bit dizzy and I am sure it works some part of my brain. *I could use my lap top buttons faster.(This experience was really amazing)

The Best Mental Concentration Technique-Day 1

It is 00.47 now. And for about 10 minutes, I have tried the technique I advised you 5 days ago with the headline Mental Exercise For Concentration .















My experiences:

*I tried to imagine a single object, my object was a small red square.

*I stopped the timer and the longest time I can concentrate on this single object is only a few seconds! But I am not upset. 

*I had a small headache.

*It was very hard to imagine something for a few seconds for me. Maybe other people can do more or not I don't know .

*This thing seems to work , I really loved to do this. 

It is 00:55 now and I feel a bit dizzy after doing this exercise.I will repeat it tomorrow for a longer period of time.

Women And Menstruation Days

"I'm eating like crazy"

"Always feel hungry"

"My  nails are growing like a giant"

"I can't put up with you any more!"

"I feel like a feather ball! How come  they grow so early!"


If you recall the above sentences, you most probably are a "woman" being!



















So, what can we do to beat this feeling? We can:

*Go outside and have a small walk after taking our daily multivitamin.

*Try to drink fresh juices instead of mochas and macchiatos.

*Change your mind if an irritating thought comes up. You can listen to an electronic music or a few popular song while walking. This will at least help the clouds disappear.

*Take a shower and go to a coiffeur. Maybe a manicure and having blowed your hair would make you feel better.

*Go and eat a piece of dark chocolate .

*Try to eat some bananas before going to bed in order to re-gain the magnesium and potassium you loose over this period.

*Also take one iron pill per day during the menstruation.

The Importance Of Being Sincere

*I  never liked insincere people .When I thought why it is, I found that they might be hiding their own personality so they were covering their real faces with a huge mask which should have been very very hard to execute.


Hiding your emotions really cause big problems, I believe this earnestly. The more you try to hide the more you will expose. Think about a person who is inhibited during his childhood about any matter, any behaviour he had.............







Just try to be yourself. If you ask me are you doing this yourself, I don't know I am not sure, but I always wanted to be, a real, sincere and the mental beauty comes with that, I believe this for sure.

Importance Of Vitamin C In Depression

While I was a child, there were encyclopedias which were very heavy that we can hardly handle them. Now you don't need anything to carry with you except an epad or a smartphone. Everything you search are in that small clever machine.

I was searching for human body once when i was reading those big encyclopedias and came across with a very important information which i never heard about afterwards.It was about vitamin C. (Vitamin C was  known as a very effective antioxidant till the grape seed and coenzyme q10 became very famous.)

I read in there that when vitamin c is given to the  people with serious mental illnesses, it was observed that they used 99% of vitamin c. 

This is, I think a very useful information to enlight some of the questions hidden. Most of the antioxidants are known to make people feel better and vitamin is one of them. It also has other positive effects on skin and metabolism.

The negative effects of vitamin c may be:


*It can make deposition in kidneys.

*If you take in higher doses , may cause dizziness.


In depression, most of the people suffer from lackness of energy and I think regular vitamin c intake may help with reducing the symptoms of the depression.

I believe that one should try to observe and explore himself/herself in order to treat his/her illness and in this blog I would like to add something to your life trying to win the depression.




Mental Exercise For Concentration

Today I have seen a video which really engaged me. It explains a method of developing the concentration and is really easy to try.

This exercise claims to be the most effective concentration technique.


Here is what to do for a better concentration:

1)Just create a calm area that you can be alone and close your eyes.

2) Form and imagine a single shape in your mind such as a triangle,circle or a square. Just be sure it is simple .It can be yellow, green or any colour you wish.

3) Hold the time in order to measure how long you can imagine the shape .

4) Try imagining it as long as you can. Try not to be distracted.

5) Practice it twice a day throughout 30 day for an effective progress.

6) Try to pass your last score each time you try it.

I will try doing it begining from today and will share my comments with you.

Social Anxiety Disorder And Amygdala

There had been many many ways to treat Social Anxiety, but most of the methods had been useless including the medical treatments.

I do not say the medical treatment is totally useless but if you look around, you will see that there are many people suffering from the psychiatrists and the medicines they prescribe.

It is the "amygdala" which is responsible of our anxiety and depression. The amygdala is the very small part of our brain which works when it is lightened and maybe if we find the way to turn it off we would find how to treat all the anxietys which interferes our lives, ties our hands, sticks our mouth and locks up our feet...


Sometimes the amygdala is alert , you work yourself up, and after this happens, you realise that there was nothing to get excited, you remember this moment? Most of us wish to seem silent, would like to relax at the moments we seem stucked. So what should we do to seem cool, win our anxiety?


The key is in the amygdala. But so far, there had been no any finding about the amygdala , perhaps you will see there are many people in "youtube "talking about this small part of our brain .


What to do then?

*Maybe if we know that all the guilt is in this small tissue, we may alter some of our behaviours when we are excited and feel insecure.

*Think about the moments you feel insecure, and try to imagine and live that moments again so you can develop different behaviours related to that conditions for the next time. Do not forget one fact: Everything is in our brain and we have the power to overcome all negative issues.....

The Importance Of Distraction In Depression

 If you are in depression, you wake up with a big sorrow on your face. And when you remember the bad memories, your brain start to direct you to a different place. You feel stucked, maybe you would prepare yourself a perfect breakfast but this feeling disrubts you and you don't want to do anything any more. You have to go the tailor next to your house but it is very very hard to wake up and do your musts.

Do's


1) Stop thinking about the bad memory you certainly think of. I know this seems hard when you read, but you will get used to when you first start doing it.


2) Get up and start to walk if  you are sitting, or if you are  about to sleep . Walking distracts you and helps forget what disturbs you while thinking. 


3) Change your mind , just think about something relaxes you, you can think of a pretty baby cat, remember the smell of a nice flower , think about green, deep jungles. Hear the rustling sounds of the trees ( But  pay attention the jungles not  in "blair witch", this may cause and undesired mood)  Dream of swimming in a green, warm sea, as you wish.


4) Look at some pictures you already take of , or go take some photos if you can get out of your home...

5) Start to have a look around you, your tv, your computer, your goods at your house. This will distract you and you will earn some more time to be able to avoid the bad feeling in your head.


6) Just try to do something you have to in your daily life.  Remember depression doesn't mean you have to live in an untidy house. Go iron one of your shirt, brush your teeth, wash the dishes, just be in an action, this is very important.


Don'ts

1) Do not forget you are unique. Do not burry yourself to memories. Feel the "now", 

2)  Do not watch bad news on tv. Try to watch some comedy films or open a video on internet that most made you laugh.


3) Try not thinking of anything while you have nothing to do.

Serotonin, SSRI And Depression

The serotonin is known as the answer of the depression by most of us.

But I don't think the same after getting dozens of SSRI's for many years. SSRI , in other words: Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor is a type of medicine to treat depression by balancing the serotonin hormones in our brains. But there is something missing in this type of treatment, this hormones makes people happy. ..And the happiness on its own is not sufficient for getting over depression.This is what I experimented for years....


Of course the serotonin is not guilty for making depressed people indolent. But if you ask most of the depression sufferers which take SSRI's, you will see that they sometimes feel very happy, but also very unaware of the enviromental circumstances. Is unconditional happiness enough for killing the depression? I don't think so.






What serotonin itself made to me for years:


*It inhibited my alertness also bounded my vision of life.

*I ignored the real life and made myself a fairy tale .

*This fairy tale finished after some time.(Your body gets used to the medicines as time passes by.)

The natural serotonin boosters are:

*Banana

*Bitter Chocolate

*Poultry

*Simple carbs( But simple carbs makes you feel worse after some time because the rates is blood are not permanent)


But please do not forget you won't consistently feel very well after eating them all. These only help you feel better at the moment they are in your blood circulation....I am sorry to upset you but these are the real facts...


SSRI is also known to lower the sexual desire and achieve orgasm if you you are overdose.But even if I was using the medicines at normal levels, I complained about most of its side effects.




Coenzyme Q10 And Depression

Researches show that antioxidants  relieve depression symptoms and generalized anxiety disorder appreciably.

We, everyday  read everywhere that Coenzyme q10 is the most powerful antioxidant and has very respectable  effects on elevating one's mood. I did not try this till one day, many years ago, when I went to pharmacy for buying a supplement pill, the pharmacist told me that Coenzyme q10 gives energy to person who should first start to take the amount of 30 mg, and thus even can not spend the energy .

Two months ago, I started to take the 100 mg coenzyme and the effects on my mood are;

*It normalised the inequal colours on my skin. Now it seems smoother.






My Depression Treatment With Omega 3

Most of us know that depression is a very common and a serious illness. But less of us can succeed in  how to overcome and treat this trouble.

I used to have major depression for several years and I know what it means to be addicted to alcohol if you do refuse to use your medicines prescribed by your doctor.

Today, I will  talk about omega 3 which helped me to protect my mind for more than 8 months.I say 8 months because I believe this illness should be overcomed by not with medicines but also with other supplements so I decided to start any other type of treatments which I believe in.


The change on my mood is:

* I was drinking alcohol everyday or every other day to feel better, now I can stop  drinking it at least in day time . I still feel depressed but if I am out or busy I do not remember to drink it.
